Apple TV+ is Offering Free Access to Some Original Shows for Limited Period

Apple TV+: Apple's Streaming Video Service

Apple is offering select Apple Originals on the Apple TV platform for free, beginning at 5:00 pm EST tomorrow, April 11. The business revealed that its original shows would be available to consumers for a “short period” spanning across 100 countries.

The Apple TV app featuring Apple Originals is available on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac, select smart TVs from Samsung and LG, as well as Amazon Fire TV and Roku.

Apple’s Golden Globe-nominated show, The Morning Show, featuring Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell, will reportedly not be available for viewing without a subscription. Before paying, you can see the first episode of The Morning Show for free. However, the critically acclaimed original documentary by Apple, the Elephant Queen along with other shows such as Servant, For All Mankind, Dickinson, Helpsters, Ghostwriter, and Snoopy In Space can be watched on Apple TV+ free of charge.

Apple has taken steps since the beginning of March to ensure its staff and customers remain safe to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The company launched a dedicated coronavirus section on its News website last month. Users who have access to Apple News can read articles about the coronavirus, travel advisories, as well as other information related to the novel coronavirus.
