How the World Health Organisation's failure to challenge China ...

On Thursday, Scott Morrison, Australia’s Prime Minister, proposed that World Health Organization representatives should cooperate with a proposed independent review into the spread of coronavirus.

On Wednesday, Morrison also met with many world leaders, including U.S. President, Donald Trump to encourage a review into the origins of the new coronavirus strain, which appeared in China late last year.

Scaling up his calls, Morrison said all the members of the World Health Organization should be obligated to take part in such a review.

Morrison told reporters in Canberra:

If you’re going to a member of a club like the World Health Organization, there should be responsibilities and obligations attached to that,”

“We’d like the world to be safer when it comes to viruses… I would hope that any other nation, be it China or anyone else, would share that objective.
