
A tipster has indicated that Huawei appears to be working on two entry-level smartphones, the Huawei Y5P and Huawei Y6P. The tipster also indicated the alleged key specifications of the smartphones, battery specifications, as well as camera setup and press renders.
As seen from the supposed press render above, the Huawei Y5P is available in black, blue, and green color options, while the Huawei Y6P will come in Black, Green, and Violet color options.
The price for the Huawei Y5P and Huawei Y6P was not released by the tipster. Huawei still has not confirmed the existence of the two phones.
Huawei Y5P alleged specifications:
The Huawei Y5P will feature a Dual SIM slot and will run on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 on top. As for the display, the tipster said the phone will come with a 5.45-inch HD+ LCD.
The phone is supposedly powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The tipster further notes that the Huawei Y5P is going to pack a 3020mAh battery that will support 10W fast charging via a Micro-USB port. Lastly, the phone will pack 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be expandable via a microSD card up to 512GB.
Huawei Y6P alleged specifications:
The Huawei Y6P will feature a Dual SIM slot and is said to come with Android 10 out-of-the-box. As for the display, the phone will feature a 6.3-inch HD+ LCD.
The phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, along with 3GB of RAM. As for security, the renders indicated a fingerprint sensor on the back panel of the phone.
The phone is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup that will include a 13-megapixel primary camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera and a 2-megapixel tertiary camera. The phone will reportedly come with a front 8-megapixel camera.
As for storage, the phone will feature 64GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via a microSD card up to 512GB. Moreover, the Huawei Y6P is expected to sport a 5000mAH battery and a Micro-USB port.
