Amazon plans to extend the closure of French warehouses until May 13

On Thursday, Amazon announced that they plan to extend the closure of its French warehouses until May 13.

The company said in a statement that it would challenge any court decision restricting deliveries and send a case to France’s highest court.

Since April 16, Amazon’s six French warehouses have been closed following court judgments requiring it to limit deliveries during the COVID-19 pandemic or face large fines.
