
According to the country’s Health Ministry, Brazil’s daily coronavirus deaths have been higher than fatalities in the United States for the first time during the last 24 hours.
Over the last 24 hours, Brazil has registered 807 fatalities.
Brazil currently has 374,898 confirmed coronavirus infections, making up for the second-worst coronavirus outbreak in the world at the time of writing, just behind the U.S. with 1,637 million reported cases. Currently, the number of deaths in the U.S. stands at 97,971, whereas only 23,473 deaths have been registered in Brazil.
