Spain: COVID-19 death toll tops 27,119

On Thursday, Spain’s Health Ministry said that coronavirus fatalaties reached 27,119, rising by just one for the second day in a row.

Over the last seven days, only 38 deaths have been reported, with a total of 237,906 cases being reported in the country since the outbreak began.

Authorities are working on a new way to log coronavirus cases and fatalities, prompting the government to warn that data may fluctuate in the coming days as it adjusts to the new methodology.
