On Sunday, Thailand reported 8 new coronavirus infections bringing the infection toll in the country to 3,112.
No new coronavirus related fatalities were reported.
An assistant spokeswoman for the government’s COVID-19 Administration Centre confirmed that the latest cases had originated overseas, five from the United Arab Emirates, two from Kuwait, and one from India.
For 13 days in a row, Thailand has not reported any new local virus transmissions, she added.
