According to a report, Apple submitted the iPhone 12 to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia. Nine new model identifiers indicate different stock keeping units (SKUs) of the next-generation iPhone, the report mentioned. The EEC database is also reported to have a model ID for a new Mac desktop, indicating the introduction of a new iMac. Apple is expected to launch the new iMac later this month at WWDC 2020.
The model identifiers related to the iPhone 12 inside the EEC database are A2176, A2172, A2341, A2342, A2403, A2407, A2408, and A2411. A screenshot of the listing shows that all new iPhone models run iOS 13. However, with different software versions, Apple has a record of submitting its new products multiple times for certification. Thus, it is likely in the coming days that the same product identifiers will appear on the EEC website with iOS 14.
Apple is predicted to launch the iPhone 12 in four distinct SKUs— one with a 5.4-inch display, two with a 6.1-inch display, and a large, 6.7-inch display for the last model.
Apple appears to be developing its new iMac version in addition to the new iPhone models. The EEC database has the model A2330 identifier associated with the new iMac.
Earlier in the week, Tipster Sony Dickson on Twitter claimed the new iMac would debut with an iPad Pro-like design and thin bezels at WWDC 2020. He also mentioned that the new iMac would feature a T2 coprocessor and AMD Navi GPU.
