On Tuesday, Brazil’s Health Ministry announced that over the past 24 hours, Brazil reported 39,436 new confirmed coronavirus infections as well as 1,374 additional fatalities.
According to the ministry, Brazil has reported more than 1.1 million coronavirus infections since the pandemic began, with total fatalities in the country exceeding 52,645.
