Kazakhstan: Coronavirus lockdown to be extended by 14 days

On Monday, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that Kazakhstan would prolong its second coronavirus lockdown by an additional two weeks until the end of July and provide financial assistance once again to all who have lost their source of income.

Tokayev said in a Tweet:

“There are first signs now that the situation is beginning to improve,”

“The next two weeks are important for the full stabilization of the situation.”
