Google Pixel 4a: Render Briefly Posted to Google Pixel Store

A Google Pixel 4a render briefly surfaced on the Google Canada Store, revealing important design details for the upcoming phone. The Google Pixel 4a series was expected to launch at the I/O developers conference in May, although the launch never took place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Pixel 4a has been subject to a variety of rumors since then, although Google has not provided any signs of a formal launch.

This render was live on the Google Canda store for a short period and indicated a hole-punch display design with the cutout located at the top left corner of the screen. On the back, within a square-shaped frame, the Pixel 4a can be seen with a single rear camera, which also has an LED flash module. Additionally, a fingerprint scanner can be seen on the rear of the phone. The render suggests that the phone will come in a single black color variant.

The display has 4a written on it, adding more strength to the render’s validity. The date May 12 can also be seen on the phone, which is in line with the Google I/O launch date.

Only recently, the Pixel 4a was spotted on a US FCC listing, indicating that the phone may arrive without the Soli sensor chip. The 64 GB edition is expected to be priced at $299, with the 128 GB variant being priced at $349.

Currently, no launch date has been revealed for the Pixel 4a, although rumors suggest that the phone will launch in the coming months.
