On Saturday, Health Minister Olivier Veran said that as part of efforts to curb the revival of COVID-19 infections across France, the wearing of face masks would become mandatory in enclosed public spaces like banks, shops, and indoor markets as of July 20.

Veran said on Twitter:

“From Monday, mask-wearing will be mandatory in closed spaces,”

“That concerns shops, buildings open to the public, covered markets and banks.”
