The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live true wireless earphones have finally been released worldwide after months of rumors and speculation. The Galaxy Buds Live earphones are Samsung’s first earbuds with active noise cancellation.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live comes in three color options, black, bronze, and white, with 12 mm AKG tuning drivers. The earbuds have three built-in microphones (two on the exterior and one inside the earphones). The earbuds utilize Bluetooth v5.0 and also supports SBC, AAC, and Scalable Bluetooth codecs.
The Galaxy Buds Live case is fitted with a USB Type-C port, with a 60mAh battery inside the earphones, and a 472mAh battery inside the case. Samsung claims up to 29 hours of battery life per charge cycle, with up to 8 hours of charge inside the earphones. The case also supports fast charging, which can provide 1 hour of battery life on a 5-minute charge. The earphones are IPX2 water resistance rated and operate with Samsung’s Bixby Voice Assistant.
The earbuds app allows users to control noise cancellation, modify equalizer settings, configure touch control, and view both the earphones and charging cases battery life.
The earbuds will go on sale globally from August 6.
