On Thursday, the Philippines’ health ministry confirmed 3,249 new coronavirus infections as well as 97 additional fatalities.
The health ministry said in a bulletin that total reported cases in the Philippines exceeded 205,518, the highest in Southeast Asia, with fatalities also increasing to 3,234.
