
Global coronavirus infections topped 26.4 million on Friday, with deaths worldwide also passing 872,000. Approximately 18,652,990 patients have recovered from the virus globally.
The United States is currently leading global infections with more than 6.3 million confirmed cases, followed by Brazil, India, Russia, and Peru.
Additionally, Russia became the first country to announce a coronavirus vaccine worldwide. Even President Vladimir Putin approved the vaccination, claiming it was safe to use and that one of his daughters had already been vaccinated.
