According to Microsoft sources, a Russian based hacker group, Fancy Bear, targeted a company partnering with Democrat Joe Biden.

Biden’s campaign claim it knew a foreign party had attempted to, and failed, access “non-campaign email accounts of individuals affiliated with the campaign.”

The hackers reportedly targeted employees at SKDKnickerbocker, a campaign planning, and marketing agency that has been partnering with Biden and other notable Democrats in the 2020 presidential election.

According to U.S. sources, the Russian hacker group, whom many refer to as “Fancy Bear,” is operated by Russia’s military intelligence agency.

The hackers reportedly failed to gain access to SKDKnickerbocker’s networks.
