
On Tuesday, ahead of Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s speech on new regulations to curb the second wave of coronavirus infections, Senior Cabinet Minister Michael Gove claimed that British schools should stay open if a second COVID-19 wave arrives.
Gove said in an interview:
“We’re trying to strike a balance. We’re trying to say that schools, of course, should remain open. We want workplaces where people have to be in the factory or in the shop in order to do their job to remain open in a COVID-secure way,”
