France: 25,086 new COVID-19 infections, 122 fatalities reported

On Friday, after announcing a record of 30,621 cases on Thursday, France recorded 25,086 new cases of the novel coronavirus and 122 fatalities.

In total, France has reported 834,770 COVID-19 infections and 33,303 fatalities.

The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 39 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.3 million fatalities across 188 countries and territories.
