Argentina: 10,334 new COVID-19 cases, 241 fatalities reported

On Wednesday, Argentina reported 10,334 new COVID-19 cases and 241 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.

In total, Argentina has reported 1,339,337 COVID-19 cases and 36,347 coronavirus related fatalities.

The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 11.8 million infections and 255,829 fatalities, although India follows closely behind with 8.9 million cases and 131,618 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 5.9 million cases and 167,455 deaths, France with 2 million cases and 46,698 deaths, and Russia with 1.9 million cases and 34,387 coronavirus related deaths.

The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 56 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.3 million fatalities across 217 countries and territories.
