Greece: 3,209 new COVID-19 cases, 60 fatalities reported

On Wednesday, Greece reported 3,209 new COVID-19 cases and 60 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.

In total, Greece has reported 82,034 COVID-19 cases and 1,288 coronavirus related fatalities.

The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 11.7 million infections and 254,463 fatalities, although India follows closely behind with 8.9 million cases and 131,130 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 5.9 million cases and 166,847 deaths, France with 2 million cases and 46,273 deaths, and Russia with 1.9 million cases and 34,387 coronavirus related deaths.

The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 56 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.3 million fatalities across 217 countries and territories.
