Croatia: 4,009 new COVID-19 cases, 51 fatalities reported

On Thursday, Croatia reported 4,009 new COVID-19 cases and 51 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.

In total, Croatia has reported 115,626 COVID-19 cases and 1,552 coronavirus related fatalities.

The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 13.1 million infections and 268,343 fatalities, although India follows closely behind with 9.2 million cases and 135,296 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 6.1 million cases and 170,799 deaths, Russia with 2.1 million cases and 38,062 deaths, and France with 2.1 million infections and 50,618 deaths.

The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 60 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.4 million fatalities across 217 countries and territories.
