
On Sunday, Poland reported 11,483 new COVID-19 cases and 283 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.
In total, Poland has reported 985,075 COVID-19 cases and 17,029 coronavirus related fatalities.
The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 13.6 million infections and 272,254 fatalities, although India follows closely behind with 9.3 million cases and 136,733 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 6.2 million cases and 172,637 deaths, Russia with 2.2 million cases and 39,527 deaths, and France with 2.2 million infections and 52,127 deaths.
The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 62 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.4 million fatalities across 217 countries and territories.
