Serbia: 7,782 new COVID-19 cases, 69 fatalities reported

On Friday, Serbia reported 7,782 new COVID-19 cases and 69 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.

In total, Serbia has reported 206,940 COVID-19 cases and 1,834 coronavirus related fatalities.

The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 14.6 million infections and 283,805 fatalities, although India follows with 9.6 million cases and 139,700 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 6.4 million cases and 175,432 deaths, Russia with 2.4 million cases and 42,176 deaths, and France with 2.2 million infections and 54,140 deaths.

The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 65 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.5 million fatalities across 218 countries and territories.
