
On Monday, Denmark reported 3,198 new COVID-19 cases and 18 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.
In total, Denmark has reported 137,632 COVID-19 cases and 1,053 coronavirus related fatalities.
The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 18.2 million infections and 324,869 fatalities, although India trails behind with 10 million cases and 145,912 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 7.2 million cases and 186,773 deaths, Russia with 2.8 million cases and 51,351 deaths, and France with 2.4 million infections and 60,549 deaths.
The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 77.2 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.7 million fatalities across 218 countries and territories.
