
On Thursday, Croatia reported 2,233 new COVID-19 cases and 70 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.
In total, Croatia has reported 202,319 COVID-19 cases and 3,464 coronavirus related fatalities.
The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 18.9 million infections and 334,218 fatalities, although India trails behind with 10.1 million cases and 146,778 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 7.3 million cases and 189,264 deaths, Russia with 2.9 million cases and 53,096 deaths, and France with 2.5 million infections and 61,978 deaths.
The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 79.1 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.7 million fatalities across 218 countries and territories.
