Vietnam: 7 new COVID-19 cases reported

On Saturday, Vietnam reported seven new COVID-19 cases, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.

In total, Vietnam has reported 1,439 COVID-19 cases and 35 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.

The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 19.2 million infections and 338,263 fatalities, although India trails behind with 10.1 million cases and 147,379 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 7.4 million cases and 190,515 deaths, Russia with 2.9 million cases and 53,659 deaths, and France with 2.5 million infections and 62,427 deaths.

The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 80.1 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.7 million fatalities across 218 countries and territories.
