
On Monday, Germany reported 10,212 new COVID-19 cases and 336 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.
In total, Germany has reported 1,665,534 COVID-19 cases and 30,838 coronavirus related fatalities.
The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 19.6 million infections and 341,743 fatalities, although India trails behind with 10.2 million cases and 148,180 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 7.4 million cases and 191,207 deaths, Russia with 3 million cases and 55,265 deaths, and France with 2.5 million infections and 63,109 deaths.
The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 81.4 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.7 million fatalities across 218 countries and territories.
