Libya: 670 new COVID-19 cases, 23 fatalities reported

On Sunday, Libya reported 670 new COVID-19 cases and 23 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.

In total, Libya has reported 101,414 COVID-19 cases and 1,510 coronavirus related fatalities.

The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 20.9 million infections and 358,682 fatalities, although India trails behind with 10.3 million cases and 149,471 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 7.7 million cases and 195,742 deaths, Russia with 3.2 million cases and 58,506 deaths, and France with 2.6 million infections and 64,921 deaths.

The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 85 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.8 million fatalities across 218 countries and territories.
