Germany: 3,568 new COVID-19 cases, 220 fatalities reported

On Monday, Germany reported 3,568 new COVID-19 cases and 220 additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.

In total, Germany has reported 1,787,728 COVID-19 cases and 35,325 coronavirus related fatalities.

The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 21.1 million infections and 360,198 fatalities, although India trails behind with 10.3 million cases and 149,860 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 7.7 million cases and 196,136 deaths, Russia with 3.2 million cases and 58,988 deaths, and France with 2.7 million infections and 75,431 deaths.

The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 85.7 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.8 million fatalities across 218 countries and territories.
