Norway: 243 new COVID-19 cases reported

On Saturday, Norway reported 243 new COVID-19 cases, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.

In total, Norway has reported 58,445 COVID-19 cases and 517 coronavirus related fatalities.

Norway reported its first case of COVID-19 on 26 February 2020.

The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 24.2 million infections and 405,219 fatalities, although India trails behind with 10.5 million cases and 152,311 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 8.4 million cases and 209,350 deaths.

The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 94.9 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 2 million fatalities across 219 countries and territories.
