On Thursday, British transport minister Grant Shapps announced that Portugal was back on the coronavirus quarantine list, meaning all visitors returning from Portugal will have to self isolate for 14 days. The move comes as Portgual faces an increasing rise in coronavirus infections.
Individuals returning from the Portuguese islands of Azores and Madeira will not be required to self-isolate.
