On Friday, Australia’s most populous state of victoria reported 43 new coronavirus infections as well as nine additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.
A day prior on Wednesday, Victoria reported 51 new cases as well as seven fatalities.
In total, Victoria has reported 26,513 coronavirus cases, as well as 788 deaths.
