On Monday, Belarus reported 1,263 new COVID-19 cases and seven additional fatalities, all of which occurred over the past 24 hours.
In total, Belarus has reported 115,448 COVID-19 cases and 1,053 coronavirus related fatalities.
The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 11.4 million infections and 252,114 fatalities, although India follows closely behind with 8.8 million cases and 130,417 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 5.8 million cases and 165,811 deaths, France with 1.9 million cases and 44,548 deaths, and Russia with 1.9 million cases and 33,489 coronavirus related deaths.
The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 55 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.3 million fatalities across 216 countries and territories.
