In total, Gibraltar has reported 953 COVID-19 cases and three coronavirus related fatalities.
The United States is currently leading global COVID-19 cases with over 12.2 million infections and 260,394 fatalities, although India follows closely behind with 9 million cases and 132,795 deaths. As for the third-highest caseload and death toll, Brazil follows with 6 million cases and 168,662 deaths, France with 2.1 million cases and 48,265 deaths, and Russia with 2 million cases and 35,778 coronavirus related deaths.
The novel coronavirus was first discovered in Wuhan, Hubei, China, on Dec. 31, 2019, and has infected more than 58 million individuals worldwide, resulting in over 1.3 million fatalities across 217 countries and territories.
